Litigation Associate

Our client, a growing international law firm with a well-established litigation practice, is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of insurance defense experience to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking hands-on litigation experience across a broad range of matters in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of insurance defense litigation matters from inception through resolution, including:
  • Personal injury litigation
  • Construction litigation
  • Business and commercial disputes
  • Professional negligence claims
  • Transportation litigation
  • Products liability matters
  • Real estate-related litigation
• Conduct and manage written discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents
• Develop litigation strategy and assist with case evaluations
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case developments and recommendations
• Prepare matters for mediation, arbitration, trial, and settlement discussions
• Work closely with partners and litigation teams to achieve favorable outcomes

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in good standing
• 3-5 years of insurance defense litigation experience
• Experience handling discovery and depositions
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Professional negligence
  • Transportation litigation
  • Products liability
  • Real estate-related litigation
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

Compensation Range: $140,000 - $170,000 annually, plus bonus opportunities (based on experience and qualifications).
