Litigation Associate

About the role

The New Jersey office of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., has an opening for a bright, energetic, and hard-working litigation associate. The candidates should have 5–7 years’ experience in complex commercial litigation. The position provides the opportunity to work both independently and as part of our strong litigation team.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of commercial litigation
• Draft pleadings and motions
• Prepare discovery and handle discovery disputes
• Take and defend depositions
• Appear in state and federal courts of New Jersey and arbitrations
• Perform court appearances
• Provide day-to-day case and client management

Qualifications

• Superior academic credentials
• Excellent researching skills
• Exceptional writing and communication skills
• Admitted to the New Jersey bar
• New Jersey State court experience
