Based in Atlanta, with additional offices in Dallas, Chicago, New York, Orange County, Sacramento, and San Diego, MHS has a strong presence across major U.S. cities, providing its attorneys with robust professional development and career growth opportunities. MHS is seeking a junior associate to join the firm’s Sacramento office, which primarily handles wage and hour class actions.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with more senior attorneys in defense of cases
• Be provided training, oversight, and mentorship
• Have exposure to wage and hour class actions
• Have the opportunity to work on other labor and employment matters as well, including single plaintiff cases, labor matters, and administrative agency matters

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of litigation experience, with labor and employment and wage and hour class action experience a strong plus
• Active California State Bar admission
• JD degree from an ABA accredited law school
• Understanding of current court and employment-related agency (state and federal) procedures
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong research skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills

Pay

$150,000 - $185,000 depending on experience
