About the role
The Richmond office of Holland & Knight has an immediate need for a Litigation Associate with 2-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters, including legal research, drafting motions and pleadings, managing discovery, and supporting all phases of litigation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research
- Draft motions and pleadings
- Manage discovery
- Support all phases of litigation
Requirements
- 2-3 years of litigation experience
- Federal judicial clerkship strongly preferred, but not required
- Admission to the Virginia Bar, or eligibility to promptly waive in
Skills
- Strong academic background
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in federal court highly desirable
