Litigation Associate

Role

Crossing Hurdles is a global recruitment consultancy partnering with a well-established law firm known for handling high-volume, complex litigation matters and offering attorneys strong courtroom exposure, hands-on responsibility, and a collaborative, performance-driven environment.

Location

Hybrid (Los Angeles or San Diego, CA | few days in-office per week)

Compensation

• $165K – $185K + discretionary annual bonus

Years of Experience (YOE)

• 3+ years of litigation experience

Requirements

• Active California Bar license in good standing
• Trial preparation and courtroom exposure including motions and depositions
• Experience working with e-discovery software
• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage case files from inception through resolution with significant ownership
• Handle motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials
• Utilize e-discovery tools to manage large-scale case data
• Collaborate with partners and team members to develop litigation strategies
• Maintain high standards of organization, accuracy, and client service
