Responsibilities
- Maintain your own funnel and carry a sales quota.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Serve as technical point of contact at key strategic accounts.
- Focus on strategic and competitive opportunities to capture market share.
- Function as an expert in competition / product differentiation for the broader sales organization.
- Deliver product/workflow presentations and coordinate demonstrations to showcase the unique benefits of our chromatographic solutions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends using CRM software.
- Regularly participate in relevant industry events to gain insights, foster relationships, and build professional networks.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights and market demands.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, Analytical chemistry or adjacent field.
- Advanced degree highly preferred.
- 2+ years proven experience in sales, preferably in the scientific or analytical instruments industry.
- Deep technical understanding of Agilent’s full portfolio of chromatographic solutions and associated applications.
- Knowledgeable in the informatics solutions and associated compliance requirements of the LC market is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
