Key Responsibilities
- Design hardware interfaces and develop software for Real-time Hardware-in-the-Loop simulators.
- Select and procure electrical components under tight timelines.
- Create and interpret electrical specifications, schematics, and diagrams.
- Develop LabView projects for prototype sensors and optical equipment.
- Perform circuit design and software development for portable devices.
- Conduct circuit reviews and microprocessor programming using Python and C++.
- Collaborate with PCB fabricators and contract manufacturers.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years electrical engineering in industrial, defense, or R&D sectors.
- Proven Linux-based Real-time Operating Systems development experience.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Java, and Python for embedded systems.
- Strong analog and digital circuit analysis and design skills.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, and multimeters.
- Basic soldering skills for surface-mount packages (0603, 0402, TSSOP, SOIC).
- Native or bilingual English proficiency.
Preferred Skills
- VxWorks or other non-Linux RTOS debugging experience.
- Verilog, VHDL, or MATLAB familiarity.
- Automated testing and in-situ detection systems experience.
- IoT-enabled control schemes knowledge.
