About the role

We are seeking an EVS Associate II to join Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant, part of HCA Healthcare. This position is ideal for those passionate about creating positive patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas using prescribed methods.
• Prepare the Environmental Service carts for assigned area.
• Spot clean, dust, polish, sweep, mop floors, clean fixtures, showers, commodes, and miscellaneous cleaning in assigned areas including rooms for incoming patients.
• Remove soiled linens and change beds with clean linens.
• Assist in cleaning of emergency spills observed or upon request.
• Apply proper infection control practices and isolation techniques.

Requirements

• Read, speak, and understand the English Language.
• Prior cleaning experience in an institution is desired, but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

This position is typically scheduled Monday through Friday, with some weekend and holiday coverage required.
