Linen Associate

Albany Memorial Hospital – Part-time day shift. Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and every other Saturday and Sunday, 3 hours each day (7:00 AM to 10:00 AM).

Responsibilities

• Perform linen handling functions, including cart preparation and distribution of clean linen to user departments
• Fill linen carts to pre-determined par levels and deliver them to various departments throughout the hospital
• Restock linen shelves and collect soiled linen from different departments
• Fold linen and scrubs, load the scrub machine, build Operating Room packs, and keep the linen department clean and organized

Requirements

• Must be able to respond appropriately to written and verbal instructions
• Computer knowledge desired

Pay

Pay range: $16.20 – $20.75 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The range may vary based on location.
