Linen Associate

Part-time, day shift position at Albany Memorial Hospital. Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and every other Saturday and Sunday, 3 hours each day from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Perform linen handling functions including cart preparation, distribution of clean linen to user departments, pack making, and soiled linen pick-up.
• Fold linen and fill linen carts to pre-determined par levels.
• Deliver linen carts to various departments throughout the hospital.
• Restock linen shelves and collect soiled linen from different departments.
• Fold scrubs, load the scrub machine, build Operating Room packs, and keep the linen department clean and organized.

Requirements

• Must be able to respond appropriately to written and verbal instructions.
• Computer knowledge desired.

Pay

$16.20 - $20.75 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary based on location.
