Line Servicer - Warehouse 3rd shift

Reporting to the Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager, this role maintains the supply of products and packaging materials for packaging lines at the plant.

Responsibilities

• Verify the proper components and quantities have been staged to meet production batch needs.
• Communicate any discrepancies to minimize downtime.
• Maintain adequate supply of packaging components throughout the packaging operation.
• Maintain production time records for each packaging line.
• Verify the appropriate and legible shipper label is on the shipper.
• Verify the appropriate stacking pattern is being used on the pallet.
• Move completed skids or containers of stock to designated areas using pallet jack or industrial lift truck.
• Ensure each pallet of completed production is shrink wrapped.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist packaging department in other assigned duties.
• Use Ross system.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Good math skills.
• Knowledge and experience working in a production team environment.
• Highly motivated, conscientious, self-managed team player.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work 2nd Shift and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Computer skills highly desirable.
