About the role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore Inner Harbor. This position offers highly competitive wages, an exceptional benefits package, and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.
• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers, date all food containers and rotate as per Crescent standards, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
• Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up.
• Note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages and assist in keeping buffet stocked.
• Have at least two years of experience as a Line Cook, preferably at a hotel.
• Hold a Food Handler certification.
• Be comfortable with physical work and pride yourself on providing guests with quality preparation and presentation of the food they order, ensuring memorable experiences.
• Enjoy flexibility in shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements

You must have at least two years of experience as a Line Cook, preferably at a hotel. A Food Handler certification is also required. Physical stamina and a commitment to high-quality food preparation are essential. Flexibility in working various shifts is preferred.

Qualifications
