Job Responsibilities & Tasks
- Learns all Noodle recipes, cook times, and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung’s procedures
- Checks the ingredient quality prior to beginning cooking
- Cooks the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s recipes
- Plates the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s plating guidelines
- Prepares and cuts garnishes for Noodle line items
- Limits all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
- Attends monthly staff meetings and Noodle meetings
Supporting Functions
- Keeps all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
- Organizes items within the walk-in coolers and freezers
- Lifts/moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds)
- Maintains confidentiality regarding all propriety information, including but not limited to recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP’s“)
