Responsibilities
- Open/close kitchen when needed.
- Prepare a variety of different appetizers/entrees for guests and ensure food preparation to keep the kitchen and line fully stocked.
- Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine.
- Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine; unload and organize them properly.
- Empty trash containers regularly and maintain a clean work area by sweeping and mopping as needed.
- Perform additional cleaning duties and clean food prep stations and equipment as requested.
- Control and direct the food preparation process while collaborating with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent service.
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a line cook or in a kitchen environment preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and with a kitchen team, dividing responsibilities and monitoring staff.
- Credentials in health and safety training.
- Certification that meets local requirements.
- Must be flexible with hours.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs during normal operations.
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest.
Pay
$19-$21/hr
Schedule
Nights and weekends required.
