Responsibilities
- Proper food handling and storage
- Preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking
- Accurately and efficiently cooking food
- Reading in English OR Español and following all recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and basic safety to produce food according to the Turning Point and Health Department guidelines
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required
- Skilled with the use of cookware needed for the position
- Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
- Able to work with high temperature equipment and in a high heat facility
