Responsibilities
- Proper food handling and storage
- Preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking
- Accurately and efficiently cooking food
- Ability to read in English OR Español and following all recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and basic safety to produce food according to the Turning Point and Health Department guidelines
- We have many positions in our kitchens. You will be expected to learn and work in all areas. This includes the three cooking stations, food prep and dishwashing positions
- Our managers will never ask you to do something they would not do themselves
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled with the use of cookware needed for the position
- Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
- Ability to work with high temperature equipment and in a high heat facility
Pay
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
