We're currently hiring an experienced Line Cook who can keep up with a busy line, maintain consistency, and contribute to a strong, team-oriented kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Culinary & Kitchen Operations: Execute food preparation and cooking on designated line stations.
- Maintain consistent portioning, flavor, and presentation for every dish.
- Follow recipes, prep lists, and kitchen procedures accurately.
- Complete daily prep and keep stations fully stocked before service.
- Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards at all times.
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
- Teamwork & Communication: Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and FOH when needed.
- Cooking stations and ticket coordination to ensure smooth service flow.
- Support fellow cooks and kitchen staff during rush periods.
- Aid in training new team members when assigned.
- Contribute to a respectful, positive, team-oriented environment.
- Professionalism & Problem Solving: Stay calm and efficient during peak hours.
- Adapt quickly when workload or station demands shift.
- Address concerns about food quality or safety promptly.
- Uphold Lalla Grill's high standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Mandatory: Minimum 3-5 years of professional kitchen experience.
- Prior experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Formal culinary training is preferred.
- Must be fluent in Spanish; English proficiency preferred.
- Strong cooking skills with excellent time management and multitasking ability.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistent quality.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Valid Food Handler Card required shortly after hiring.

Schedule
