Primary Responsibilities
- Preparing food at a specific station in the kitchen
- Working alongside other line cooks to ensure timely production of high-quality dishes
- Execute dish preparation at assigned station according to Wild Eggs specifications
- Setup and stock assigned station before service begins, checking ingredient quality, ensuring adequate supplies for anticipated volume
- Work cooperatively with other line cooks and kitchen staff to meet timing requirements and maintain the flow of service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station throughout service, following health department regulations and company food safety procedures
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of line cook experience in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Understanding basic cooking methods and knife skills
- Ability to read and execute recipes
- Physical ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Working Conditions
- Extended periods of standing, walking and repetitive motions
- Exposure to heat, steam and kitchen equipment
- High-volume service periods requiring speed and focus
