Line Cook

About the role

As a Line Cook for Texas Roadhouse, you'll make made-from-scratch Legendary Food for our guests to enjoy. You'll be part of a team that works together to push out the food our guests have come to expect from Texas Roadhouse.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook made-from-scratch dishes according to recipes and guidelines
• Ensure food safety and quality by following sanitation and hygiene protocols
• Work efficiently to meet production goals and maintain a high level of customer service
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the station
• Learn and adhere to signature, made-from-scratch recipes and plate presentations
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Ability to follow recipes and guidelines accurately
• Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina for cooking tasks
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred but not required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a similar position preferred but not required
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Skills

• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills (e.g., using a computer for scheduling)
