Line Cook
About the role
As a Line Cook for Texas Roadhouse, you'll make made-from-scratch Legendary Food for our guests to enjoy. You'll be part of a team that works together to push out the food our guests have come to expect from Texas Roadhouse.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook made-from-scratch dishes according to recipes and guidelines
- Ensure food safety and quality by following sanitation and hygiene protocols
- Work efficiently to meet production goals and maintain a high level of customer service
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the station
- Learn and adhere to signature, made-from-scratch recipes and plate presentations
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Ability to follow recipes and guidelines accurately
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina for cooking tasks
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred but not required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a similar position preferred but not required
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills (e.g., using a computer for scheduling)
