Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for service, including chopping, portioning, mixing, and measuring
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before each shift
- Cook menu items accurately and efficiently according to recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout service
- Label and store all food products properly after each shift
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Aid in training new kitchen team members as requested
- Communicate equipment or supply needs to management promptly
- Perform other duties as requested by management
Qualifications
- Previous culinary experience in a high-volume environment required; multi-station experience a plus
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, and physically demanding environment
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills
- Safe Food Handler certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Working Conditions
- Fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, humidity, and wet surfaces
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Frequent handwashing and use of gloves required
Pay
Pay Range: $15 - $17 per hour
Schedule
Schedule includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
