Role Summary
Cinemark Line Cooks prepare quality food in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests receive fresh and tasty meals promptly. This role requires a strong desire for culinary career growth.
Responsibilities
- Prepares all required items according to approved recipes and portion controls
- Fulfills prep lists daily
- Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of food products
- Collaborates with servers to ensure accurate food orders
- Cleans food preparation area and equipment after each use
- Ensures standard operating procedures and safety/sanitation are consistently achieved
- Wipes down and sanitizes high-contact areas
- Utilizes personal protective equipment appropriately
- Monitors and reports safety/security issues
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Complete basic food handling training and obtain necessary certifications
- Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Communicate effectively with all ages and personalities
- Work in a team environment and independently
- Take and follow direction
- Respond with a sense of urgency
Physical And Environmental Requirements
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, and reaching
- Noise levels may be moderate to high
- Standing for extended periods
