Light Assembly Worker

About the Role

We’re seeking a Light Assembly Worker to work at a premier manufacturing client in Dallas, TX. This opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of $16.00 per hour on the 2nd shift (2:50 PM - 1:30 AM).

Responsibilities

• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), health, and hygiene procedures, including gowning and glove changes.
• Clean equipment, utensils, and work areas according to approved procedures.
• Inspect all pouches coming off the line for imperfections and ensure quality standards are met.
• Pack products into shippers, seal them, stack on pallets, and repeat the process during production runs.
• Spot-check product quality and notify maintenance of any issues on the packaging line.
• Cooperate with co-workers and supervisors while maintaining regular, punctual attendance.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Effective communication in English (read, write, and speak).
• Ability to operate a pallet jack (training provided).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, squat, twist, and reach for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as ear plugs, gloves, lab coat, hair net, and face mask.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred, but not required).
