Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in assuring the operation of the lifts in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
  • Perform daily pre-operational checks, inspections, and opening/closing procedures.
  • Operate lift in accordance with CPTSB regulations.
  • Properly fill out all lift log and lift incident reports.
  • Observe, assist, and instruct guests during both the load and unload process.
  • Respond to emergencies or accidents following the proper procedures and communication channels.
  • Provide proper communication with both lift operations and ski patrol dispatch.
  • Cookordinate with lift maintenance daily.
  • Perform all necessary snow removal and snow maintenance work.
  • Provide a high level of guest service and guest interaction.
  • Adhere to all TSG policies and procedures listed in the employee handbook.
  • Understand and apply the Skier Responsibility Code and Colorado Skier Safety Act.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in a satisfactory manner.
  • To read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • To write simple correspondence.
  • To effectively interact in one-on-one and small group situations with customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • To be able to communicate by radio.
  • To add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • To perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • To apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions from written, oral, or diagram form.
  • To deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • To ask questions on tasks to ensure complete understanding.
  • To read and interpret simple screen displays.
