Lift Operator

About the role

This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship. Reports to Supply Chain Manager/Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Moves product from palletizer to stretch wrapper using forklift with fork or clamp attachment.
• Uses RF computer system.
• Fills palletizer with CHEP pallets as needed.
• Keeps Depal conveyors full of supplies.
• Removes all dunnage and places it in the right location.
• Unloads and stores finished goods for loading.
• Removes all trash from trash containers and takes to compactor at least once per shift.
• Maintains a clean work area and all areas of the factory and grounds.
• Follows all safety procedures and participates in factory safety initiatives.
• Follows all quality procedures and participates in factory quality initiatives.
• Must have a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• Passes forklift driver evaluation based on minimal knowledge of control functions and operation of a forklift.
• Holds a valid driver's license.
• Able to read and write in English.
• Able to communicate policy and ensure compliance without exception.
• Able to coordinate multiple assignments and tasks simultaneously and with complete accuracy.
• Able to apply personal judgement and make decisions under pressure.
• Able to communicate effectively and in a positive manner at all levels within the company.
• Able to help/support other personnel.
