About the role
Numotion, the nation's leading provider of Complex Rehabilitation Technology, is seeking a dedicated Home Access Lift Technician to join our team. This role is pivotal in improving the lives of people with disabilities by enabling them to actively participate in everyday life.
Responsibilities
- Gather materials for job sites
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Assist with the installation of various lift systems
- Interact with clients to explain basic services
- Run errands for materials and tools
- Ensure compliance with Home Access standards and applicable codes/regulations
- Maintain tools and equipment
Requirements
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain personal insurance
- Capability to navigate over urban, suburban, and rural areas
- Fluency in verbal and written English
- Physical ability to move equipment and interact with clients and equipment in various environments
- Ability to routinely carry/lift items up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Proficiency in climbing ladders and crawling in attics
- Knowledge of tools and equipment related to lift installations and repairs
- Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines and standards
- Willingness to undergo drug testing as per company policy
Qualifications
- Experience in a technical or mechanical role is preferred
- Prior experience with lift systems installation and repair is advantageous
- Background in construction, carpentry, or related fields is beneficial
- Proven track record of working under supervision and following instructions
- Experience in customer service or client-facing roles is desirable
- History of maintaining tools and equipment and managing inventory
- Experience with on-the-job training and continuous skill improvement
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to home access solutions
- Previous experience in a role requiring physical labor and manual dexterity
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Skills
