Lifeguard
Job Description
As a Lifeguard, you will monitor pools and water attractions, respond quickly to emergencies, and provide exceptional guest service while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. What You'll Do as a Lifeguard
- Monitor pools and water attractions to ensure the safety of all guests.
- Enforce water park and pool rules while promoting a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Respond immediately to emergencies, perform water rescues, and administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Provide outstanding guest service by answering questions and assisting guests throughout the water park.
- Participate in required training, safety drills, and certification programs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all OSHA and company safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications preferred but not required. Paid training and certification are provided prior to starting.
- Strong swimming ability and the ability to react quickly and confidently during emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to recognize unsafe conditions and respond appropriately.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Florida driver's license required to operate company golf carts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist in lifting or moving over 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to work in wet, humid, outdoor environments and prolonged sun and heat exposure.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed.
- Required to pass a background check, drug test, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
