What You Will Have an Opportunity To Do

Riverhouse Lodge is seeking a professional, attentive, Lifeguard to oversee the safety of guests using the hotel pool and surrounding aquatic facilities. Must be willing to get Lifeguard Certfication. The Lifeguard is responsible for maintaining a safe swimming environment, enforcing pool rules, responding to emergencies, and delivering exceptional guest service to ensure a positive experience for all visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe swimming environment, enforce pool rules and safety regulations in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to aquatic emergencies and administer first aid, CPR, or other lifesaving measures as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the pool area and safety equipment.
  • Maintain accurate incident and accident reports.
  • Ensure pool decks, furniture, and surrounding areas remain clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Perform opening and closing pool procedures.
  • Auxiliary guests with questions regarding pool operations, amenities, and hotel services.
  • Report maintenance, safety, or operational concerns to management promptly.
  • Participate in required training, drills, and staff meetings.
  • Maintain a friendly, professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Lifeguard Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA, Ellis & Associates, or equivalent).
  • Current CPR/AED Certification.
  • Current First Aid Certification.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain alert, focused, and calm in emergency situations.

Pay

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
