Lifecycle Marketing Specialist
About the role
Freshworks is looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to execute nurture campaigns across our Employee Experience (EX) product family — Freshservice, ESM, D42, Firehydrant, and Freddy AI. Reporting to the Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you’ll own day-to-day execution of the pod’s always-on and re-engagement nurture programs, keeping 501+ segment accounts moving through the funnel between paid and ABM touches. You’ll partner closely with Content Strategy, Digital Marketing, and Product Marketing to keep messaging relevant across each stage of the customer journey.
Responsibilities
- Execute nurture campaigns across the EX product family’s active programs, including always-on demand gen, trial journey nurture, re-engagement, and reincentivization/win-back
- Own and revamp underperforming programs as needed, ensuring each has clear KPIs and reporting
- Partner with the Lifecycle Marketing Manager on journey-framework build-out, including personalization and dynamic content infrastructure
- Partner with Digital Marketing on the hand-off of syndication leads into nurture, and with Sales/SDR teams on MQL scoring thresholds and hand-off rules
- Partner with Content Strategy and Product Marketing to align nurture messaging to each stage of the buyer journey
- Monitor email and database health (deliverability, unsubscribes, blacklist status) across owned programs
- Report on program performance against KPIs and recommend optimizations based on campaign data
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of experience in B2B email/lifecycle marketing, ideally at a SaaS company
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo preferred), including building nurture logic, triggers, and segmentation
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce) and lead scoring/routing processes
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS as it relates to email production
- An analytical mindset — comfortable pulling and interpreting campaign performance data to inform iteration
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with content, demand gen, and sales teams
- Knowledge of email deliverability and compliance best practices (GDPR, CCPA)
Schedule
This is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/week (Tuesday - Thursday) from our San Mateo, CA headquarters.

The annual base salary range for this position is $123,000 - $145,000. This role is also eligible for a target bonus. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level.
