About the role
The Life Skills Instructor position at MITC aims to empower students through various life skills workshops and activities.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement life skills workshops tailored to student needs.
- Facilitate group discussions and interactive sessions to enhance social and emotional learning.
- Evaluate workshop effectiveness and provide feedback to improve future sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with youth or adults in a similar capacity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Qualifications
- Passion for education and community development.
- Experience with curriculum development and delivery.
- Knowledge of current best practices in life skills education.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
