What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for high school students covering topics such as public speaking, focus, and feedback exchange, then assessing mastery through a structured Test2Pass evaluation
- Conducting daily motivation sessions that leverage Coachbot analytics to engage individual students, pinpoint obstacles in their learning apps, and guide them through resistance
- Examining curriculum and lesson plans prior to each session, then adjusting your approach based on real-time group dynamics
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Teaching traditional academic content
- Overseeing school operations or supervising staff
- Enforcing discipline through conventional authority
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any subject
- 3+ years of experience working directly with high school students (ages 13-18)
- Willing to work in-person in Oklahoma City, OK (relocation assistance available)
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Experience as an athletic coach, camp counselor, or youth program coordinator who has motivated teenagers in non-traditional classroom settings
- Demonstrated success leading groups toward quantifiable objectives (completion rates, performance benchmarks, behavior change)
- Familiarity with adaptive learning platforms or educational technology tools
- Storytelling skill that captures and holds the attention of teenage audiences, delivered with cultural sensitivity and relatability
