Life Sciences & Tech Transactions Assoc/Counsel

About the role

The Technology Transactions and Licensing Group at WilmerHale is seeking candidates with five to seven years of experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating IP licensing, collaboration, distribution, services, development and other complex agreements for life sciences companies.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing, drafting, and negotiating complex IP and commercial agreements (e.g., licensing, collaboration, distribution, SaaS/Cloud, services, development agreements) in life sciences and/or related industries.
• Demonstrated experience advising on IP rights and related technology transactions matters, including in life sciences mergers and acquisitions.
• A background including life sciences legal experience, and/or a life sciences or medical degree or training, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor
• Attorney must be licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in the state/jurisdiction in which the position is based.
• Successful candidates will have excellent drafting skills, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to positively contribute to a collaborative work environment.
