Life Enrichment Associate II Temporary Position up to 90 days Full-Time Tuesday-Saturday

About the Role

Assists in the planning and implementation of meaningful activities tailored to the individual needs and interests of participants. Helps provide programs and one-to-one activities that promote and empower the creative, physical, spiritual, social, and mental well-being of each participant. Coordinates small groups with similar interests and provides resources for others.

Responsibilities

• Assists in writing, designing, distributing, and evaluating the monthly life enrichment calendar.
• Inventories, purchases, and stocks supplies and equipment as needed.
• Drives the bus for scenic rides and large or small group outings.
• May serve on various committees as directed.
• Serves as Director in the Director’s absence.
• May provide support to the Director in functions such as timecard administration, care conferences, and budget compliance.
• Observes and communicates residents' needs, desires, and responses to programs and activities to appropriate staff.
• Compiles data for reporting purposes and performs various clerical tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Activity Professional coursework preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in recreational programming.
• Colorado driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Working Conditions

• Moderate physical effort required, handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.
• Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during working hours.
• Subject to frequent interruptions.
• Frequent interaction with residents, family members, and visitors.

$20.75 - $22.88 / hour
