LIDDA CQI Coordinator
Description
The LIDDA CQI Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Continuous Quality Improvement activities related to IDD authority functions, including service coordination oversight, waiver program monitoring, and assurance of health and safety outcomes. This position focuses on compliance with HHSC IDD authority requirements, waiver performance standards, and person-centered practices. The coordinator works closely with IDD leadership, service coordinators, and external providers to promote quality, compliance, and risk mitigation.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Education: Associate degree in a field such as Business, Legal, Administration, or Healthcare.
Preferences: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or Healthcare Administration.
Substitutions: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, including a High School Diploma/GED with a Paralegal Certificate and 2 years’ experience in a legal, compliance, or administrative environment.
Years’ Experience: Up to two (2) years of relevant experience.
Defined Experience: Experience in contract development and negotiation, financial oversight, compliance monitoring, auditing, legal matters, data-driven project or program management, OR evaluation of program or project performance.
Licenses/Certifications: Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required.
