Licensing Specialist

About the role

LV Petroleum is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Licensing Specialist to ensure all licenses and permits are properly obtained and maintained across various jurisdictions, including statewide, city, interstate, and environmental licensing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and manage applications for licenses, permits, and renewals across state, city, interstate, and environmental categories.
• Ensure all licensing documents are accurately completed, submitted, and stored according to compliance standards.
• Communicate with regulatory agencies, track application status, and follow up on outstanding licenses or permits.
• Maintain detailed, organized records of licensing documents, application statuses, and correspondence with agencies.
• Manage licenses related to lottery and gaming operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support licensing efforts with an understanding of contract and loan documentation, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
• Coordinate with legal, operations, and finance teams to align licensing efforts with business needs and compliance protocols.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in government licensing, regulatory compliance, or a related field; lottery licensing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with contracts, loans, and compliance documentation.
• High level of accuracy in managing applications and following regulatory protocols.
• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple applications across various jurisdictions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to professionally follow up with regulatory bodies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and licensing software or databases is a plus.
