Licensing Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Makes and maintains a connection with the customer by understanding and meeting their needs.
• Processes new and renewal license applications.
• Verifies and advises on continuing education compliance.
• Performs follow-up when there is a non-compliance issue.
• Audits vendors for proper licenses.
• Follows up on additional requests from the DOI to ensure license issuance.
• Provides direction to licensees to update resident, business, mailing, and email addresses.
• Affords assistance in formulating policies and procedures (licensing guidelines) and editing of policies.
• Participates in industry licensing groups through SILA to stay updated on industry changes.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Requires high degree of attention to detail.
• Exceptional ability to multitask.
• Demonstrate and practice strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Requires a commitment to provide excellent service.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this role is $43,200.00-$68,850.00 annually based on experience and qualifications.
