Licensed Vocational Nurse - Clinic - Primary Family Medicine

About the Role

Provides patient care under the supervision of physicians or registered nurses, following established standards and practices. Performs basic patient care tasks such as measuring vital signs, weighing patients, collecting specimens (including phlebotomy), and assisting with examinations and procedures. Supports provider(s) in patient treatment, medication refills, and immunizations. Manages patient flow, answers phone calls, records messages, and assists with scheduling tests and managing results.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care and treatment procedures
• Maintains clinical cleanliness by cleaning and restocking exam rooms and equipment
• Performs routine clerical duties including chart retrieval and documentation
• Supports medication administration and immunizations as ordered
• Participates in meetings, training, and performs additional assigned duties

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program
• Licensed LVN in the state of employment or a compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
