Licensed Vocational Nurse - Clinic Cardiology

About the role

Provides patient care under supervision of physicians or registered nurses, performing clinical and administrative duties in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care tasks such as obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, collecting specimens, and assisting with examinations and procedures.
• Supports patient flow, answers phone calls, records messages, and helps with scheduling tests and appointments.
• Assists providers with medication refills, administers medications and immunizations per provider orders, and maintains a clean and stocked exam environment.
• Performs routine clerical tasks including chart retrieval, filing, and document completion.
• Participates in meetings and training sessions, and performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the applicable state or a compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Competency in lab procedures, patient care, and clerical tasks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
