Responsibilities
- Assist with and drawing injections.
- Input orders for imaging, PT, DME, orthotics, labs, and referrals.
- Field patient phone calls and encounters dealing with topics like medications, treatments, test results, and surgery.
- Schedule surgery and imaging.
- Confer with physicians to provide the highest level of customer and medical care.
- Work collaboratively with all providers of care including PT, Home Health, Rehab, Hospital, DME providers, and Implant Representatives.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of clinical experience.
- Active License and/or Certification.
- Strong multi-tasking skills without sacrificing attention to detail.
- Exposure to and knowledge around orthopaedic medical management.
Preferences
- Experience and proficiency in EMR systems.
- Proficient in removing staples and sutures from post-operative incision sites.
