Licensed Vocational Nurse - Heart Failure Clinic

About the Role

Provides patient care under supervision of physicians or registered nurses, performing basic clinical duties and assisting with examinations and treatments.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, weigh patients, and collect specimens, including phlebotomy.
• Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and medication refills.
• Administer medications and immunizations as ordered.
• Support patient flow, answer phone calls, and document patient information.
• Assist with scheduling tests, results, and pre-certifications.
• Perform routine clerical tasks such as chart retrieval, filing, and supply management.
• Maintain cleanliness and restocking of exam rooms and equipment per policy.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Licensed LVN in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Current BLS certification.
