About the Role

We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for Day, Night, or PRN shifts to support The Maples Clinic in Fort Worth, Texas. As an LVN, you will provide basic patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including taking vital signs, administering medications, preparing patients for exams, collecting specimens, assisting with procedures, educating patients on self-care, and documenting patient information thoroughly.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning, coordinating, and documenting of total patient care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Accurately report and record the client’s condition and care, including signs and symptoms indicative of change.
• Monitor skin assessments with proper documentation and reporting of changes.
• Complete, maintain, and document accurate and relevant clinical notes.
• Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation for all nursing clinical services provided.
• Participate in education, in-services, and other training and meetings as needed.
• Facilitate appropriate nursing actions in response to administrative directives and a changing healthcare environment.
• Ensure all MD orders are followed and documented accordingly during the assigned shift.
• Manage medication administration, monitoring, and proper storage of medication, complying with all medication management policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LVN; experience in behavioral health care preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support.
• Certification in non-violent crisis intervention.
