LICENSED THERAPIST (LCDC, LPC, LCSW, LMSW)

About the Role

The Rite of Passage Team is hiring a Licensed Therapist at The Oaks Academy in Brownwood, Texas. The Oaks Academy is a secure post‑adjudication facility that provides comprehensive services to young men ages 13‑17 using a trauma‑informed, strength‑based, gender‑responsive model. The facility offers group, individual, and family therapy, on‑site schooling, individual dorm rooms, and extracurricular opportunities. Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to students.
• Oversee the completion of treatment plans, including clinical assessments, service planning, counseling, case management, and record keeping.
• Coordinate services with the multidisciplinary team and ensure effective service coordination.
• Document and assess the effectiveness of interventions toward meeting treatment plan objectives and goals.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Prepare monthly progress notes, staffing reports, treatment plans, and discharge summaries for all students under your care.

Requirements

• Texas license as an LPC, LAC, LMSW, LCSW, or LMFT.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical exam, and TB test.
• Clearance through the child and adult abuse central registry.
• Eligibility to become an ROP‑qualified driver, including an active driver’s license.

Pay

Pay rate determined upon license held, education, and years of experience.

Schedule
