About the role

The Substance Use Disorder Counselor provides individual and group counseling for clients overcoming addiction, including assessments, screenings, treatment planning, and case management. The counselor collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to support clients in achieving recovery and stability.

Requirements

• Valid Wisconsin SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC credential
• Associate’s degree in a human services or related field (bachelor’s preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Skills

• Knowledge of addiction and recovery principles
• Experience working with justice-involved populations is a plus
