About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Substance Use Disorder Counselor to provide individual and group counseling for adults in a new residential treatment program.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and treatment planning
- Deliver case management and coordinate community support services
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Support clients in recovery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners
- Participate in supervision, training, and professional development
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC credential
- Associate’s degree in human services or related field (bachelor’s preferred)
- Knowledge of addiction and recovery principles
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Experience with justice-involved populations is a plus
