Responsibilities

• Assist the Director to ensure medically related emotional and social needs of residents are met and maintained on an individual basis
• Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the community’s Social Services Department
• Ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, and established policies and procedures
• Follow all health, sanitary, and infection control policies
• Maintain established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Social Services Policies and Procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Social Worker within the state (if required by state/federal regulations)
• Experience in Long Term Care and behavioral health
• Healthcare experience in social services, direct care, or hospitality preferred
• Ability to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions

Wage: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-time; shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
