About the role
This role involves providing Chemical Dependency services and psychotherapy to diverse clients, including adults, adolescents, families, and significant others, under indirect supervision.
Responsibilities
- Answering and triaging patient calls, responding to crisis situations appropriately.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments, including intake, psychosocial, and higher-level evaluations for mental health or crisis concerns.
- Developing, presenting, and revising treatment plans with the clinical team.
- Participating in case conferences and delivering educational lectures on chemical dependency.
- Providing individual, group, adolescent, family, and multi-family counseling.
- Performing case management, resource coordination, and referral services.
- Mentoring and providing clinical guidance to other counselors, interns, and candidates.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least two years of post-graduate supervised addiction therapy experience within the last five years.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related behavioral health field.
- Licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (Level II).
Additional Notes
- Availability for late shifts until 8:30 PM and Saturday clinic hours.
- Must pass or have recently passed a bilingual test or be active in the QBS program.
