Licensed Practical Nurse - Private Duty Nurse

About the Role

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work 1-on-1 with pediatric and/or adult patients in their homes. Weekends, full-time, and part-time positions available for day, evening, and/or night shifts. Pay depends on schedule, experience, and the skills required per patient.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Pay & Schedule

$30 - $35 per hour. Weekends, full-time, and part-time positions available for day, evening, and/or night shifts. Pay depends on schedule, experience, and the skills required per patient. Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
