Licensed Practical Nurse - Part Time Nights

About the Role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care in a long-term care setting, emphasizing quality care in a Christian environment and contributing to the well-being of senior residents in a rural community.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as per care plans
• Assess residents' health and psychosocial needs
• Monitor and evaluate resident status through testing and observation
• Respond effectively to emergent situations
• Document care interactions and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and communicate effectively
• Counsel residents and families on prevention and care plans
• Ensure resident safety, comfort, and well-being
• Support resident education and self-care initiatives

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with a valid LPN license
• Experience in a clinical setting, including supervised clinical hours or equivalent
• Knowledge of resident care standards, medication administration, and emergency response
• Ability to work within a team, communicate clearly, and maintain confidentiality
• Additional certification in IV therapy may be required based on location
