About the Role
Provides patient care on a pulmonary and respiratory medical floor, utilizing the nursing process to ensure effective treatment, patient education, and coordinated care. Maintains patient rights, confidentiality, and professional accountability, collaborating with other departments to promote recovery and breathing health.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain documentation and uphold patient confidentiality.
- Perform duties aligned with organizational standards and values.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience with licensure.
- Current LPN license in the applicable state.
- Required certifications such as BLS and IV certification (or completion within specified timeframes).
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and turn patients up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
New or experienced LPNs welcome.
