About the role
Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate patient care on a pulmonary-focused medical floor.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process
- Deliver high-quality care
- Coordinate with other departments
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Evaluate care effectiveness
- Provide focused respiratory patient care
- Support patient recovery
- Educate patients
- Maintain professional accountability
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience with valid licensure
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and turn patients; capable of handling up to 50 pounds
- Open to new or experienced LPNs
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- LPN-IV certification preferred or obtainable within 3 months
- Must hold a current LPN license per state requirements
