Licensed Practical Nurse - Nights - Part Time

About the Role

Provides patient care on a medical floor specializing in pulmonary and respiratory conditions, utilizing the nursing process to ensure quality, compassionate care. Collaborates with healthcare teams, evaluates care effectiveness, and maintains patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing duties including patient assessment, treatment, education, and coordination of care.
• Maintains professional accountability and evaluates the work of direct caregivers.
• Ensures compliance with safety and confidentiality protocols.
• Utilize the nursing process and coordinate patient care.
• Uphold patient rights and perform duties consistent with mission and values.
• Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience with licensure.
• Current LPN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• LPN-IV certification required (or successful completion within specified timeframes).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and turn patients (up to 50 pounds).
